I worked my ASS off on these times... Aquatic Base especially. That was NOT easy to get, and although it's not perfect, it is certainly not something I want to do again.

Yeah really.

Also, as a PC version of 06 seems to be a strong reality and likelihood, if and when it does occur, I will surely spend money on buying it! I can't wait to try Wave Ocean.

How is sub 2 min possible in Wave Ocean (Shadow)?

Your problem could be on either part of the stage...


Part 1: The aerothingy can use boost dashes, like all Shadow vehicles (with the exception of the hover vehicle). Press A twice to use one.

Part 2: At the beginning, jump on the rock where you see the super iblis minion. Jump high, and then press A rapidly to use superhovering to get over to the shortcut area that would normally require a spring. Afterwards, get on the grind area, but as soon as you reach the end of it, superhover over to the left side of the blocked off area. This is actually a fake wall on this end and can be bypassed, allowing Omega to reach the goal ring before you even get to Shadow's part.

so... it's been a couple of months now since the game has been released any estimate time when the real record will be up? I hate this copy paste crap and it's getting confussing so im out until the real deal comes.(im going to get rusty!!!)

Shadow's Chaos meter power.

When I first attempted to use it when I got the game, it resulted in much awkwardness and a few inadvertant deaths. I still haven't really figured it out. Damn you Sonic Team.

True. (but it seems to me that it works on a fair share of them) Just like Shadow doesn't really get the chance to use or benefit from going super in every stage, and Sonic's gems don't apply to the Elise stages. Looks like those stages are the only real ones I can stand up in at the moment.

lol eggfl, i dont know how to use it either, i just dont use it now because of random death's and random warping off stages and random floating... its crap! i thought it said you could use chaos blast in this game to? yet the only good thing from the stupied bar is you get to change shadow into a red hedgehog.

Nailing down Chaos Snap is difficult to do, and I haven't completely mastered it. However, several of my Shadow TAs don't really use Chaos Snap too much, except for going through boxes (see: Aquatic Base, Radical Train).

The manual is very vague in its instructions on how to do Chaos Snap. It says "Hold A" but says nothing about the specific timing needed to get the technique to work.

Certainly you guys are capable of creatively discovering things on your own. Hell, I rarely even touch the manuals when I get games because I often figure out the controls myself. Exceptions are only for fighter games, where there are precise move combinations. This isn't a fighter game, though, and I could figure out how to do it on my own. Hell, if you guys have THAT much trouble with it, I'll verbally describe how to do it, but you don't really need that, do you?


Also, this isn't a topic to rant about s2006, S&A... like I said before, please go elsewhere kthx.
